OUR METHODS AND REASONING
We've put a lot of thought into all of our recipes, and when we develop a new one we make sure to never lose sight of our core values. At the heart of these values is the concept that all delicious food can also be wholly nourishing.
This section is an in-depth look at the way we make our food and what informs our methods.
As North-Americans much of the food we eat has become a mystery to us. It's often hard to know what's in our food and impossible to imagine how it's made - let alone how we could make it ourselves. Part of our mission at Lakehouse Foods is to promote healthy and delicious home-cooked meals, and that process starts with understanding food; understanding the nature of the ingredients we use and understanding how our bodies respond to these ingredients. We maintain total transparency when it comes to which ingredients we use and how we use them.
